Academics

Scholarship and academic achievement is extremely important to the sisters of Zeta Tau Alpha. At the 2012 ZTA Convention, our chapter was recognized for having the third-highest GPA of all Zeta Tau Alpha chapters over the past biennium. At NC Zeta Day 2013, we received an Academic Achievement Award and Commendable GPA Award. In the Fall 2014 semester, our chapter had 11 members with a 4.0 GPA! We also achieved academic awards  at NC Zeta Day and the National ZTA Leadership Conference 2016.

At Duke, our chapter's scholarship program encourages members to continually strive for academic achievement by using the support and resources of the sisters around them. Our Academic Achievement chair helps sisters to set and achieve academic goals. Study hours provide a quiet place for members to focus on their work. ZTA Study Groups give members the opportunity to work thorugh tough problem sets together. And our very own "ZTAces" allows sisters to make suggestions about their favorite classes and professors.

The sisters of Zeta Tau Alpha have a variety of academic interests. No matter what your area of study, there is always another sister to turn to when you need academic advice or guidance. Our sisters are majoring in:
